First for the mobile drug testing, a lab technician comes to the workplace to test the employees.

  • An employee that must take the test shall first receive a specimen cup and lid from the person administering the test. The employee will be expected to empty their pockets and leave any bags or briefcases outside of the collection room.
  • Then, the employee must produce at least 45 milliliters of urine for the sample. When finished, a lid should be put on the cup and brought to the technician.
  • Finally, the employee and collector of the sample should both keep visual contact with the cup until it has been sealed and packaged for testing.
