When team drivers, Jim and Carolyn, retired from road life in 2016, it was with a desire and vision… To share the experiences and training of a life time with fellow truckers and carriers. To provide them with the knowledge, training, caring service, and a friend who can assist in meeting the standards of regulatory compliance, vehicle maintenance, safety, health, and more! On the road they were known as “Slim Jim” and “Shortstop”, attributing their uncanny and witty ability to solve problems from fellow truckers navigating through a snow blizzard to even helping a fellow carrier win a regulatory court battle on a single technicality.
This dynamic husband-wife team earned the nickname, “DOUBLE TROUBLE.” Their secret is their love for people, a belief that anything is possible, “two-thumbs up” customer service, and their faith in God. Four generations, over thirty years, and four million miles later… Let us and our team go to work for you, win for you, and see you prosper.

Jim started his career on the road traveling in a band since he was 14. Many of his evenings were spent sleeping on a bus. He made many great memories and even had his photo on three recording albums! When he wasn’t on the road, you could find him in the swamps. Jim has always felt more comfortable sleeping with the wolves than with humans. Somehow, he has a natural gift when it comes time to train truckers or even security executives. He really comes alive and mesmerizes people when he connects with these subjects. He is said to be a money attraction if he ever gets loose!
